While this guide is not meant to be a full manual of the Avaya PBX and phone system, I am hoping it can be used to by people with limited telephony experience, but may have to carry out some basic operations...
Removing an extension
To ensure that you do not accidentally delete the wrong extension, first check the extension using the command.
disp st extn-number
To remove the extension use the command:
rem st extn-number
Followed by enter.
Alternatively, you can the Site Administration tool where you just have to click “Remove User” from the General tab.
